From any location on the many porches you see the town of Montego
Bay, the cruise ships entering and exiting the harbor, and fisherman in their
canoes paddling out to catch their daily bread. There is a nice swimming pool
in which you can also see all of the above beautiful sights. The villa has
three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom . All bedrooms have air conditioning, but
it is hardly necessary since the villa is so close to the water and there is
always a cool ocean breeze.
The living room opens out onto a porch overlooking the pool. There
is a bar inside for your enjoyment.
There are a number of fruit trees on the grounds. In Jamaica many
times words get joined together forming the language. The villa's name is
"Birches" which is one such word, the combination of the words birds and
perches. This is because of the number of birds that come to perch in the trees
surrounding the villa.
A brisk walk down the hill approximately 400 yards and you wade
in the seashore. |
